I'm at work right now kind of goofing off. I don't often enough so I’m trying to make an effort. My keyboard at home has a broken space bar so I’m not doing much posting to any sites right now. I’m somewhat depressed because I just was paid and it’s enough for last month’s car payment. Sigh. I need a new job but there’s nothing in the paper and I just don’t seem to have the connections for a “good” job. I hate borrowing money from my mom but there’s no choice I guess. I have made some lifestyle changes. I’ve been cooking at home lately, tonight I make a big pot o beans! What else? My friend Maria from high school is getting married. I’m glad for her; she finally got the military guy she wanted-he’s in the navy. Plus I guess they met at church so it works for her since she’s all super-religious now. The downer part is that she’s getting married the same weekend as the Cleveland Buffy Con-and I wanted to meet James Marsters-plus it was close. Maybe I can save enough for the May Con in Chicago. His band is going to play. Ghost of the Robot. The fun part of the wedding is that it will be in Alexandria, VA so I can stay with my friend Kristi and hang with her a little bit. I don’t know if Dave will go with me or not. I rather want him to go but I also relish the idea of some quality time with Kristi.
