Well Tuesday’s TV for me consisted of a mere two shows. Frasier and Less Than Perfect. Luckily, for me, both were pretty hilarious tonight. Frasier started dating a gym teacher and all was well until she started screaming at a hapless fat girl who couldn’t climb the rope. The ep did a great job of humorously signifying the angst of the unathletic child and the ununderstanding physically elite.
Less Than Perfect was about breaking up. Claude broke up with Charlie because he wasn’t her soul mate but had a meltdown in the bridal shop dressing room while taking Wills fiancée (brilliantly bitchily and air headedly played by Jenny McCarthy) shopping. Unfortunately, Claude’s recovery precipitates a crisis for Will’s fiancée and leads to her breaking up with Will. Best line-after Owen tells Claude’s neighbor that as the son of two lesbians-that there’s nothing hot about lesbian loving-the guy replies, "that’s like never having a Santa Clause.”
And I hate bad weather. The WHCP transmitter was off the air so no Buffy. And it was a new ep! Spoilers indicate betrayal and angst! I can’t take it! I have angst! I mean there’s no Angel for three weeks, I at least need some Buffy! Especially since I missed John Doe AND Dead Zone. Although DZ repeats and I may have a line on a JD tape.
