BTVS 7.5 Selfless
What a great episode! I'm glad they finally stopped ignoring the Anya issue. Buffy was hard hard hard. She was so eager to help Willow when she went bad, but not Anya she wasn't worth it. Harrumph. Hey but Willow helped. I liked when she turn momentarily evil and told the girl to stop whimpering. Hee hee. That said, she took a risk in approaching D’Hoffryn. I felt awful for her when Halfrek was destroyed. It was a tough moment and forced us to remember that D’Hoffryn is not a kindly old man he is a demon, in charge! of other demons and is pretty tough. Anya needed to be set on the path of redemption too before she can move on. To Giles! :) Poor Spike. Still crazy in the basement and seeing the nice Buffy that no longer exists. Was the second Buffy real? I’ll admit this was a heart-wrenching episode. I cried for Anya. You know I never cry for the Scoobies just the outsiders. Jenny’s death, Xander leaving Anya at the altar, Tara’s death, Spike, and now Anya. Funny how Willow, Buffy, Xander and dawn never made me cry.
