Well what a night, all four of the Must See TV sitcoms were brand new, as was ER (which I didn’t watch-too tired.).
Friends
Great Friends for a change. Funny with out the dumb angst of some of the other episodes. Ross and Chandler’s friendship is back. There’s no faux Rachel and Joey or Ross chemistry. No more uber-mature Monica. Just same old Friends, just older.
Scrubs
Best line of the night. “Do you have any idea how many patients I ignored? People died.” Great episode. Funny, angsty, and cheering all at the same time. Scrubs has some really great ensemble casting. Even the minor regulars are funny. It was fun to see Dr. Kelso get his for a change.
Will and Grace
Hallway farting and spying. Leaning on the doorknob. Who the heck was that hottie overacting man? So Antonio. Dating men has a lot more slapstick. Well actually it does. Jack is such a naive racist. Poor Will. I see Richard’s point though. The hazards of dating a younger man.
Good Morning Miami
Wow! Frank is secretly brilliant? Beautiful. I love Fran Drescher. She’s good at the bitchy agent roles. I love the blond robot line. Personally, I think Dylan was being a poor sport about the whole thing. Poor Penny. She and Jake will always be working at cross-purposes. The writers on the show have had me fooled. I first though Jake was destined to Dylan. Then I thought they had tricked me and were going for Penny. Now who knows? Although I figure since I like Penny better and I think Dylan’s a flake, he’ll end up with Dylan.
