Survey from

1. Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as "The Controversial Survey"?
Yes!

2. Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Maybe

3. Abortion: For or against it?
I'm pro-choice.

4. Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Why would it?

5. Do you believe in the death penalty?
My problem with the death penalty is its uneven enforcement and the possiblilty of mistakes.  Guarantee me it doesn't matter what race you are, how much you make, or your understanding (ie-mental health or iQ) then ok.

6. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
I don't even smoke but yes.

7. Are you for or against pre-marital sex?
I think this is an individual choice that people have to make for themselves. What difference does it make to my life if someone (aside from my future child) has pre-marital sex?

8. Do you believe in God?
Maybe.

9. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Yes, absolutely rights should not be denied to people based on sex/gender/sexuality. This is as fundamentally a stupid question as whether whites and blacks should be allowed to marry.

10. Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the US?
No-lets look at reasons.

11. A 12 year old girl has a baby. Should she keep it?
No. Just because you're old enough to conceive doesn't mean you're old enough to be responsible for a child. It's not exactly an easy job, and it's a lot of sacrifice that a twelve year old isn't ready to make.

12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?
Absolutely. First of all, it's not like people are waiting to 21. Second of all, someone can volunteer to fight and die for this country (or worse, get drafted to fight and die for this country), but they can't go out and have a beer after work? That's just not right. Old enough to fight and die, old enough to drink.

13. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Yes

14. Assisted suicide is illegal. Do you agree?
I believe in the right to commit suicide at any time. Medically assisted suicide doesn't bother me at all.

15. Do you believe in spanking your children?
No because I wasn't and I feel I turned out fine.

16. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
I wouldn't personally do but I believe in the right to do it.

17. Who do you think would (have) make/made a better president? McCain or Obama?
I voted Obama, and I still think that was the right choice.

18. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Shrugs. No.

4-have a big party

Wow

If you have a bad enough drug problem that it cost you custody of your kids, is it really your best plan of action to get a job as a pharmacy tech??? WTF?

JD Salinger

I don't wish death on anyone and it is really sad when someone dies but come on JD Salinger was 91 and wrote teenage male wish fulfillment. See that was over the top-but Catcher in the Rye left me cold and I hated Holden Caulfield-he was a jerk. Salinger hadn't written anything in 45 years. He wrote 4 books two of which were short story collections. It's not that big of a freakin' tragedy. And if you are an adult and Catcher in the Rye is your favorite book-we need to talk. And did he truly change the literary landscape? I hope I haven't made anyone mad.

Dread

My roommate's best friends husband is on his deathbed and she just went to the store to get some liquor. I can actually feel my shoulder's tensing. She is a terrible morose drunk. And won't stop talking to you. I hope she is passed out by the time I get home. Please?

Draco strode through the pub, seemingly oblivious to the muttered imprecations that followed in his wake.

“Traitor.”

He didn’t break stride.

“Turncoat.”

He shook his head in sympathy for the poor misguided souls. He finally stopped at the table where Harry Potter and Ron Weasley sat. “Well?” he said.

“You’re wrong Malfoy, absolutely wrong, and I don’t know how you can’t see it for yourself,” said Harry.

“As far as I’m concerned, it’s treason!” chimed in Ron.

“Look, all you have to do is look at which side has money, power, talent, and drive, and it’s an easy decision to make.”

“For someone like you.”

Draco could not believe how stubborn they were. “All I am saying is, this year England doesn’t stand a chance, it’s Spain all the way.”
